Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you ask Complete Gastonia Insulation Services to do at your home or business. When you browse the site, call us, send the form or approve an estimate, you're agreeing to them.
If a written estimate or contract we give you for a specific job says something different from this page, the written job document controls for that job. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.
The work we do
Complete Gastonia Insulation Services is an insulation contractor in Gastonia, NC. We insulate attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements. We also do air sealing, which means closing gaps before the insulation goes in, along with vapor barriers, foam, blown-in insulation and removal of old material. The descriptions on this site are general. What we'll actually do at your house is what's written in your estimate, because every attic and crawl space is different and we won't promise work we haven't looked at.
Estimates and pricing
We give free quotes on site, with no pressure and no obligation. The estimate lists the work, the materials and the price for the conditions we could see on the visit.
Prices on an estimate are good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed and we may need to update the number before we schedule.
Some things only show up once the job is open, like soaked insulation, droppings, damaged framing or buried vents. When that happens we stop, show you what we found and explain your options. We won't do extra work or add to the bill until you approve the change.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a date and arrival window with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays or a job running long can push a date, and if that happens we'll call you as early as we can to reschedule.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored items from the attic, crawl space or rooms we need to reach. Some foam work means you, your kids and your pets have to be out of the house for a while, and we'll tell you before the job how long and when it's safe to come back.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us as soon as you know. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, we may charge for them as your estimate or contract describes. Any cancellation rights you have under state law still apply.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause remaining work until the account is settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to spend collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent North Carolina law allows.
Warranties
We're licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. If something we did isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it.
Any specific warranty on our labor will be written on your estimate or contract. Insulation and foam products carry their own maker's warranties, and we'll pass those along to you. They're the maker's promises, not ours.
Apart from those written warranties, and to the extent the law allows, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied. We don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our work, like your HVAC system, windows and how the house is used.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Complete Gastonia Insulation Services isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses tied to our work or this website, such as lost income or loss of use of your home. Our total liability on any job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for problems that were already in the house before we started, or for damage caused by work someone else did later. Nothing on this page limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is general and may change without notice. It isn't a quote or a substitute for an on-site look at your house.

Settling disagreements
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get fixed with a conversation and a return visit, and we'd much rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't work it out together, you and we agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Any lawsuit will be filed in the courts serving Gaston County, North Carolina, unless the law requires a different place.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. That holds for jobs in the South Carolina cities we serve too, unless the law of the place where the work is done says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you approve an estimate is the one that applies to that job, and if you keep using the site after an update, you're agreeing to the new version.
